This trip report is from the Jackson Falls climbing trip, October 2022.

We ended up having 9 climbers. This included people planning on the Arkansas Horseshoe Canyon tip that was cancelled due to weather. They got there a day early, setting up camp at a group site that was nice and roomy.

We had a great time. On Friday we climbed at Royal Arches wall. I enjoyed Deedle Dumps (5.8), The Meanest Flower (5.9), and Ebee (5.10b). After a good day of climbing, we came back to camp and shared a communal meal. It was great to connect and enjoy each other's company.

On Saturday we headed to SS Minnow and climbed a bunch of routes. One of the interesting ones was Three Hour Tour (5.10b) which is a traverse across a large boulder and up about 50 feet. On the way back, we stopped at Monument and climbed Stubborn Swede (5.8) and The Monument (5.9), the latter of which only had 4 bolts for a 50' route, and the person who set the top rope felt exposed with so much runout.

We were all tired by the end of the 2nd day and had a great time together at camp before heading to bed. The next morning rain was in the forecast, so we said good-bye and went home to beat the rain.

Overall, it was a great trip with perfect weather and a fun group. I look forward to next year's trip.
