airfare ~ $500 to $700 Make your own arrangements. Recommend Skyscanner.com and Google flights. Plan to arrive Quito Saturday January 11 and fly out January 19th. Most airlines include a 50lb checked bag in the cost of airfare. The Galapagos Islands are a $250 RT flight from Quito for those interested on adding this after your trip. Detailed itinerary to come. Gear and participant lists have been posted. No prior experience required but glacier travel and winter climbing experience recommended. Membership in Chicago Mountaineering is not required for this trip. Apply for your passport several months in advance. Several pre-trip meetings will be held in the Chicago area prior.
