Join the CMC at the Patagonia Fulton Market store for a Q&A session lead by Alex Pancoe interviewing the legendary Reinhold Messner. All proceeds from ticket sales go to support the CMC, enabling the club to bring legendary mountaineers to Chicago!
Reinhold Messner is best known for being the first person to climb all 14 eight-thousanders, doing so without supplementary oxygen. Messner was the first to cross Antarctica and Greenland with neither snowmobiles nor dog sleds and also crossed the Gobi Desert alone. He is widely considered to be the greatest mountaineer of all time.
Alex Pancoe is an accomplished mountaineer and explorer in his own right, having completed the Explorer's Grand Slam by reaching the North Pole, the South Pole and all of the Seven Summits.
